On August 18th, the 13th "Entrepreneurship Jiangsu" Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Competition and the 14th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Jiangsu New Materials Industry Competition were officially launched in Suqian High tech Zone. Suzhou AlSTech Co., Ltd. incubated from the Super Surface Electron Microscope project of the Yangtze River Delta Advanced Materials Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as "Changcai Institute"), has won the first place!
It is reported that this competition has attracted a total of 5905 entrepreneurial teams and enterprises to participate, including five industry directions: new materials, new generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, biomedicine, and new energy/new energy vehicles/energy conservation and environmental protection. Through the selection of 13 local competitions across the province, 539 projects have advanced to the provincial industry competition, with a promotion rate of only 9%. There are a total of 102 projects participating in this new materials industry competition.
In the competition, Professor Tang Wenxin, the project leader, conducted a defense around the theme of "High throughput Electron Beam Wafer Inspection Project", covering technological breakthroughs, product matrix, application scenarios, team building, and company development. In the end, with a high score of 91.21, Suzhou AlSTech Co., Ltd. won the first place in the startup group and advanced to the finals! It is worth mentioning that this score is the highest among all groups in the industry competition (start-up group, growth group, team group)!
Since its establishment, the Super Surface Electron Microscope project has successfully completed the independent research and testing of China's first Super Surface Electron Microscope through the use of the Long Materials Institute's instrument and equipment development platform, R&D cooperation funds, and upstream and downstream resources in the industry chain, supported by the "allocation and investment combination" mode. It has achieved full control of the entire industry chain from design, manufacturing, to assembly and debugging. In 2024, the project successfully incubated and established Suzhou AlSTech Co., Ltd. At the recently held 2025 University Technology Transfer and Transformation Conference, the Super Surface Electron Microscope project was successfully selected as a "Major Case of Achievement Transformation in the National University Regional Technology Transfer and Transformation Center (Jiangsu)".
At present, the company focuses on cutting-edge electron microscope technology, including aberration correction/electron spectroscopy and the design, development, and production of core components. It provides customized development services for OEM equipment manufacturers, especially scientific research instrument and semiconductor equipment manufacturers, in the field of electron microscope technology equipment or core components.
