On the afternoon of September 19th, 2024, the 16th Qualcomm Ventures Sequoia China Entrepreneurship Competition successfully concluded at this year's DEMO CHINA in Chengdu. After intense competition in on-site roadshows, reviews, and scoring, Suzhou AlSTech Co., Ltd. ultimately won the championship of this competition.

The 2024 Qualcomm Ventures Sequoia China Entrepreneurship Competition is jointly organized by Qualcomm Ventures, Sequoia China, and Chuangyebang. The judging panel of this competition is strong, consisting of 8 senior investors from Yuanhe Origin, Zhencheng Investment, BV Baidu Venture Capital, Qualcomm Venture Capital, Samsung Venture Capital, Xiangfeng Investment, Yaotu Capital, and Sequoia China serving as judges.

In this competition, a total of 10 companies took the stage for roadshows, covering project areas such as database engines, semiconductor testing, high-performance AI+Cloud infrastructure, and new textile materials, making it a gathering of hard technology enterprises.

The judges will use virtual investment to score, with each judge having a virtual investment of 50 million yuan. At the end of the project roadshow, each judge needs to fully utilize their virtual investment and invest in at least three roadshow companies. Finally, the company with the highest virtual investment amount in the special session will become the champion, and the top two companies with the highest investment amount will directly advance to the DEMO CHINA Ultimate PK Finals together.

After intense competition, Metaphase Micro Technology, which focuses on using electronic phase to solve high-throughput semiconductor detection, ultimately won the championship of this competition.
