Delay line detector*

Delay line detector (DLD) is a high-precision time and position sensing device widely used in fields such as particle physics, nuclear physics, electron microscopy, mass spectrometry imaging, etc. It accurately locates the location of events by measuring the propagation time difference of electronic pulses in the delay line, with high time resolution, high spatial resolution, and multi hit capability.

• Effective diameter: 10mm -120mm
• Horizontal resolution: as low as 50 microns
• Imaging count rate (continuous mode): 5 million times per second
• Imaging count rate (burst mode): 20 million times per second
• Multi hit design: ≥ 4 simultaneous hits (up to 256 simultaneous hits)
• High voltage fluctuation: up to 10 kV
• Time step resolution: 6.8 picoseconds
• Time resolution (position integration): 200 picoseconds
• Communication interface: USB 3.0 Gigabit LAN
